I love this idea for when we manage to sail in warmer areas. Solar anything up here is hit or miss. But, hey, I still remember trying to actually fry an egg on a sidewalk when I was a kid. Of course, that was in Texas. There's solar shower on the market that is pretty cheap, and it actually works in Washington state on the warmer days.
